I’m Ali
My passion for newborn photography runs especially deep.
As someone who has experienced multiple pregnancy losses, including a stillbirth, I understand just how precious every baby is and how quickly these early days pass.
"They are only this little once."
That belief is at the heart of every newborn session I photograph.
My purpose isn't simply to create beautiful photographs. It's to preserve memories, celebrate family and create meaningful images that will be treasured for generations.
My purpose-built Hunter Valley studio has been designed with comfort and connection in mind. Featuring a beautiful bedroom-style studio space, it allows me to capture families naturally — just as they are. The cuddles, the giggles, the interactions and the love that make your family uniquely yours.
While I offer gently posed photography, my style is always natural, timeless and connection-focused.
I specialise in Maternity, Newborn and Family Portraiture and also offer outdoor sessions throughout the beautiful Hunter Valley region.
To make your experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible, I provide access to my carefully curated Client Wardrobe for Mum and Baby, helping families feel beautiful, comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Photography has been part of my life for almost twenty years.
After becoming a mother in 2005, I purchased my first DSLR camera and quickly fell in love with the art of preserving memories. I began building my portfolio in 2007, photographed my first paid session in 2008, and have never looked back.
What began as a passion for family photography evolved into a love for newborn portraiture in 2012. Since then, I have invested heavily in education, training and professional development, attending workshops with respected Australian and international photographers while continually refining my craft.
Newborn safety is something I take incredibly seriously. I am fully insured, extensively trained and committed to creating a safe, calm and comfortable experience for every baby and family who enters my studio.
In December 2023, my family and I relocated to the beautiful Hunter Valley after many wonderful years living in Central Queensland, Coffs Harbour and on the Central Coast. Originally from Newcastle, it feels incredibly special to be closer to family again while building a business and community I love.
What I love most about photography isn't the camera, the equipment or even the final images.
It's the people.
It's hearing your story.
It's celebrating your milestones.
It's helping mothers step into photographs with their children.
It's preserving moments that one day become priceless.

I'm a wife, mother, photographer, and someone who believes that the most meaningful moments in life are often the ones that pass by far too quickly.
For almost two decades, I have had the privilege of documenting families through some of life's most precious seasons — pregnancy, newborn days, childhood and the beautiful connections that make every family unique.
I believe in capturing the moments that are gone in the blink of an eye. The fleeting glances, tiny details, quiet cuddles and genuine laughter that make up the story of your family.
These are the moments that matter most.
As a mother myself, I know just how quickly time passes. My children, Luke, Benjamin and little Evie, have taught me that while the days can feel long, the years truly are short.
I'm a firm believer in existing in photographs with our children — not just for today, but for the legacy we're leaving behind. One day, these images become priceless reminders of the love, connection and story that shaped their lives.
My faith is also a significant part of who I am.
As a Christian, my faith has shaped the way I view family, motherhood and the gift of life itself. I believe every child is uniquely created with purpose and that every family has a story worth celebrating and preserving.
Perhaps that's one of the reasons I feel so passionate about what I do. Every day I have the privilege of documenting some of life's greatest blessings — capturing the connections, relationships and memories that make each family beautifully unique.
It is a responsibility I never take for granted.
